Revolution is…

Revolution is a home decor and lifestyle emporium on Baker Street in cozy and charming downtown Maplewood, 15 miles outside of NYC. The shop was founded by artist and furniture maker David Heffernan. David’s goal is to help each customer find just the right item to bring a spark of magic into their world. This is a joyful and easy task thanks to the eclectic collection of home decor, furnishings, jewelry and more.

Revolution is a study in contrasts and contradictions, where old meets new and disparate objects live in harmony.

It is a place to find everything from Rembrandt etchings to 50’s paint by number sets; an Early American high chair to a Gustav Stickley rocker;  a Victorian cameo to a 21st century glass bead necklace.

Revolution is a place where time worn furniture can be given a new lease on life courtesy of custom paint treatments and finishes.

Revolution is a fun place to dream.. and plan… and shop. We know you’ll love it.
